To date I've not authorized my work or my image to be used anywhere outside my one YouTube account or my one Google account. To date I've received no compensation for works of mine which were used commercially. What did Crystalids fans like about that band anyway? Was it their music or their status as industry stars? I created their music and few seem to notice that I exist. Is their recording contract all you loved about them? That would explain why they lost their popularity almost overnight. While it troubles me to have put so much of my life into my music only to be treated like a loser because I didn't sell out, I feel more secure with less love if I know it's real love. And real love is proven by sacrifice. I've been so jaded by this experience that I now believe my parents are the only people on Earth who truly love me, aside from a minority of fans who stayed loyal to me when it might have cost them. Does the business own your hearts? Do you need their permission to love an artist? Of course, not! But you can't blame me for asking. |
