Judging from its barrage of advertising, the business wants you to worship money, precisely what Jesus preached against. First they need your trust. They can't secure your trust on their own because they can't produce the kind of work you trust; they're too corrupt. So they need honest work that was written from a pure motive to secure your trust. That's where my music and writing came in. My music and writing was all about rejecting the corporate mindset, but in their hands it took on a whole new meaning: it made you think they were on your side; it made you love them and trust them. Back in 2007, when they were calling me God, I rejected their worship. I said that they should only worship God. But someone else wanted your worship: NBC! They proved it as soon as I erased my work from the web. Remember how they said that people worship Tina Fey? Remember how the Dateline girls were worshiped last year? By worshiping NBC for stealing my work, you might as well have been worshiping Satan. And he really penetrated your hearts with all that passionate work of mine. Some of you still want to thank these monsters for what they did to me. You shouldn't worship money. Any damn fool can have money. If you disagree with me right now, I'm sure you'll come around to my way of thinking on your deathbed. |
