How to Party

How to Party
My partying days are long behind me, but I wouldn't begrudge people in their teens and twenties their fun. While I don't get much stimulation from large social affairs, myself, my music has provided the background for a rather enormous party. This would have been all well and good if I would have been paid my fair share of the profits for this use of my work. If you want to party with my music, it's the business's responsibility to approach me with a fair offer for the use of my music. Instead, they stole it from me and let the perpetrators use it to make me a figure of international hate.

There's nothing wrong with having fun if it's done right. If everyone had known that those were my songs as they were dancing to them, no one would be suffering any shame or guilt over the experience now. Don't blame me for this vicious hangover. The business, in its blind race for profits, overlooks certain moral subtleties: a practice which ends up costing everyone, not just financially but spiritually.
