If some people are feeling bad, I hope they're not blaming me. Sometimes truth feels like bitter medicine. Some cures are painful. But I'm not the one who fed the world poison. I'm just living my life and following my nature. I shouldn't have to worry about what others did with my music or writing behind my back. As the source of my work, I should be free to create. I'm always trying to improve myself and I don't get hung up on earlier work. There's no scandal here. I've been semi-unemployed most of my life to make room for musical and artistic projects. That's about it. I've never been arrested, never been incarcerated, don't surf the internet and avoid the radio and TV. I live alone and mind my own business. Nothing sensational. Maybe that's why you haven't heard. |
